SB 202

On March 13, 2024, Governor Holcomb signed SB 202 into law. The StopSB202 campaign at PFW has shifted its attention to working with campus administrators to make sure the ill-conceived law does not harm the campus’s ability to achieve its mission. March 6, 2024. The chapter was featured in an ABC21 story on SB202.

February 26, 2024. The chapter held a town hall on campus.

February 20, 2024. Chapter Executive Committee members Steve Carr and Noor O’Neill submitted an op-ed to the Journal Gazette. An edited version was published. Original submission here.

February 14, 2024. Chapter president Steve Carr and secretary Noor O’Neill gave testimony at the Indiana statehouse, Senate Education Committee hearing on SB 202.

February 12, 2024. The Fort Wayne Senate passed a resolution opposing the legislation. The resolution was co-written by chapter President, Steve Carr.
